Urgh
Here are some pictures. Words are trickier. My mind is addled by three children and life. Trying to keep some witty ongoing commentary on all this is tough.
So here goes. Esther is increasingly carefree and physically industrious - bounding up climbing frames, trees and anything else that might be imperiling to her safety with amazing skill. Skill unbound. Despite her rag tag approach to almost everything and her ability to get distracted by a passing fly, she can ascend things with remarkable poise - terrifying her parents and annoying her sister in equal measure.
And she can also ride a bike. A full on pedal bike. Alas she can't stop her bicycle yet but she is working on it. At the moment she jumps off it like a runaway train or aims for the soft embrace of a grass verge to stop her progress. But come spring, family cycling will arrive. Huzzah.
She is also sharp like a tack. She bounds around, ignoring direction and commands, seems to be in some interior, joyous world but she knows exactly what is going on and how to exert her power, which is legion in form. Particularly when it comes to needling her elder sister, which she can do with effortless ease.
Enjoy
